Topics Should be Site Related

A trip through our Sitemap will give you a good idea of what we write about here. Common topics deal with:

  • Case Studies - Case studies deal with real situations and seek to act as a “lessons learned” for the audience.
  • Interviews - Interviews seek to get a unique viewpoint from different bloggers on the concept of reader appreciation.
  • Misconceptions - Examples of trends and ideas that are supposed to help readers, but may be doing more harm than good.
  • Blogging - Articles that talk about blogging and reader appreciation in general.
  • Tips - Provides the audience with tips on how to implement the reader appreciation concept.
  • Questions - Posts that seek reader feedback on a topic.
  • Reader Spotlight - Posts which seek to highlight a reader or blogger for their appreciation efforts.
  • And more… - We welcome just about any topic as long as its all about the readers.

Posts Should be Original

The post should be original and previously unpublished. We will make exceptions on a case-by-case basis, however.

We do request that you not publish your article on another site for at least fourteen days after the post has been published here. You may not reuse the imagery (if provided by us) unless the image is licensed under creative commons. Most of the imagery used here is copyright protected by the photo’s author.

Posts are Grammatically Sound

Please do your best to spell-check and use proper grammar and punctuation. We aren’t too picky about region specific spelling (color vs. colour, etc.).

When writing for us, you will be given contributor status and allowed to publish your post as a draft. At that time we will run your post through our editorial process to ensure your post is as grammatically correct as possible. We will “always” email you for a confirmation before publishing your edited article.

In the event something isn’t clear or correct in your article, we will e-mail you some requested changes and not publish the article until those changes are made.

Please Avoid…

Please avoid attacking religion, political ideas, or things that many people consider very sensitive and dear to them.

If you must criticize, please do so objectively (without bias) and logically.

Incentives

As of this writing, RA Project doesn’t bring in any income. However, we’ll do our best to make writing for us worth your while. Here are some of the incentives for writing for us:

  • Author Byline: Your author byline will show up at the top of all your posts. This byline may not include links, but a link to your website will be shown on every post and on your author page.
  • A Dedicated Author Page: A dedicated author page will be displayed when viewing your profile. This page will display a large Gravatar, and will have your byline and a link to your website.
  • A Spot on Our Sidebar: Your name will be displayed on our sidebar as a guest contributor. Guests are displayed based on recent contributions.

Thanks Again For Your Consideration

Once again, if you have any questions or objections regarding the guest-contribution policy, please e-mail us. To begin the guest-contribution process, please apply. Thank you.
