Earlier this week, Chris Garrett offered to write some guest posts for some of his readers.

There were a few initial conditions:

1. You need to let Chris know of your desire for a guest post.
2. You have a Technorati-confirmed blog and you provide a link to his site.

One reader took exception to the conditions and said that the mandatory link goes against the whole authority blogger concept by requiring the writing of a post (with a link to Chris G) that has no foreseeable benefits to the readers (Read the original comment).

In an admirable move, Chris updated the conditions based on the reader feedback and said that any blog with a confirmed Technorati indexed blog could take part without the link.

I applaud Chris Garrett for listening to his readers and for being upfront with his intentions, which is to increase his Technorati authority.
