WordCamp Dallas Photos
This weekend I had the privilege to attend WordCamp Dallas. I asked many, many questions (I probably annoyed the crap out of everyone), but I really wanted to know the state of reader appreciation in the blogosphere. Almost all of the bloggers I talked to were completely for the concept, and several gave me unique insight into their situation. I hope to write about what I learned in the coming weeks.
One of the cool things about going to things like WordCamp is being able to meet your readers face-to-face. Also, you might actually find new ones, or discover that someone is a huge fan of you (always a good thing).
Posted below are a few photos of my experience at WordCamp. To view the rest of what I have, please visit my WordCamp Flickr set.
Me and Matt Mullenweg

I had the awesome opportunity to talk to Matt face-to-face, chatting about cameras (he loves cameras) and also the future of WordPress. Matt is extremely approachable. I don’t think I’ve ever met a friendlier guy.
The Crew
After one of the WordCamp days, a few attendees got together to talk a little more WordPress. I was able to chat with Ptah Dunbar, and Jeff Chandler quite frequently. In the picture is another blogger named Chris GJean.
The person taking the picture is Alex Frison, who is another awesome blogger who went extremely out of his way to make sure the other bloggers around him felt welcome and appreciated.

I really enjoyed WordCamp and meeting other bloggers face-to-face. I hope to do much more of these as I find meeting others from various backgrounds invaluable.

Thanks Matt. BTW, I snagged one of your photos of me and used it as my Gravatar. You’re an excellent photographer. Good stuff

Oh yeah, just when you said so. He took it in the building. It was a great pic.
And thanks for the kind words, for great friends I always go the extra mile to let them feel welcome and appreciated.
